Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to teach how to carry out the processes of the application phase of a research problem, whose literature has been completed, on the condition that it is related to the field of management information systems.
Course Content: This course covers
Problematic situations during project, technical mistakes and errors, software development life cycle, system development life cycle, WBS, PERT; GANTT, project management and tracing tools, data analyzing process and standards (KDD, SEMMA, CRISP-DM), Ethic in research.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Knows the difference between knowledge and science.
2) Define the components of scientific research.
3) Knows how to access relevant literature
4) Originates a research problem
5) Selects and applies the appropriate method that can be used in the solution of a research problem.
6) Uses at least one technology for a research process
7) Knows the difference between ethics and unethical in scientific research.
