Course Objectives: | To gain a new perspective in the field of design history. Subjects to be covered are supported with visual examples and examined on site when necessary. |
Course Content: | The purpose of this course is to investigate the evolution and current status of key everyday life practices and habits. The practices under examination will be examined within the context of the historical development of the technological background and equipment that make them feasible. The diversity of the implementation of these practices in different periods and cultures will be discussed. Moreover, it will be underscored that design is not merely an aesthetic practice but also possesses a transformative potential in social life. |

1) Continuously following up-to-date publications and developments related to the profession of Interior Architecture and shaping the design process in line with the theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of architecture and art. | ||||||||||||||

3) To have the right professional communication skills in professional life by using all the inputs and conditions related to Interior Architecture profession and to have mastered the methods of interior architecture representation and professional terminology. | ||||||||||||||
