Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Main aim of this course is to allow students to contribute to their surroundings by adopting the basic universal values; takes a positive attitude towards different language, race, gender, religion and social class groups without prejudice, and act with respect, become open to communication and learning and take social responsibility on social issues.
Course Content: Human rights, awareness of responsibility, diversity, multiculturalism, development of tolerance, sensitivity to social issues and social environment, participatory democracy, development of civil society, active citizenship, social responsibility projects, non-governmental organizations, contributing to social life and development.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to develop and implement sustainable social responsibility projects
2) To be able to acquire and use the necessary knowledge and skills in order to develop social responsibility projects
3) Experiencing different social environments
4) Meeting and helping people from different socio-economic backgrounds
5) To be able to work as a partner on projects with students from different educational and non-educational institutions within and outside the university
6) To be able to participate in current discussions in the fields of youth and social responsibility projects.
