Course Objectives: | It is to provide information about the vital importance of first aid intervention and first aid to the passenger during the flight operation and the health rules that flight crews must comply with. |
Course Content: | 1. General first aid information 2. Evaluation of the patient/injured and the scene 3. Basic life (adult, child, infant) 4. First aid in airway obstructions 5. First aid for bleeding 6. First aid for injuries 7. First aid for heat stroke, burns and frostbite 8. First aid in unconsciousness 9. First aid for fractures, dislocations and sprains 10. Patient and injured handling techniques 11. First aid for poisoning 12. First aid for animal bites 13. First aid in case of objects getting into eyes, ears and nose 14. First aid for choking 15. First aid materials and their use in the aircraft 16. Medical conditions encountered in flight |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learns the health problems that may be encountered during flight operations and rules to be applied in these situations. 2) Explains patient-passenger evaluation and BLS application on the plane. 3) Explain first aid and drug-free applications in aircraft. 4) Recognizes the first aid materials on board. 5) Explain the reporting rules after the first aid application on the plane. 6) Identifies the concepts of flight operation and health |
