Course Objectives: | It is aimed to learn traditional and complementary medicine methods to support modern medicine treatments, to help treat diseases and to protect human health. |
Course Content: | It includes the theoretical knowledge, application methods and molecular effects of methods such as acupuncture, apitherapy, leech therapy, cupping therapy, which are among the traditional and complementary medicine treatment methods applied as a supplement to contemporary medical treatments. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Gains knowledge of integrative methods in addition to modern medical treatments. 2) Gains knowledge about the molecular effects of traditional and complementary medicine methods in humans. 3) Interpret and create new information by integrating the knowledge gained in the field of Traditional and Complementary Medicine with modern medicine. 4) Learns the purpose of use of Traditional and Complementary Medicine methods and gets ready to practice. |
