Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Discussing the concept of non-place by analyzing spaces in movies.
Course Content: The term no-lieu of Marc Auge, or non-spaces will be discussed by analysing spaces in movies. Students will disccuss architectural spaces according to different notions such as memory, place, senss of belonging.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students will understand the effects of experiencing architectural spaces on the memory of its habitants.
2) Students will be able to analyse an architectural environment according to the concept of non-space.
