Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To introduce photography as a visual expression method.
To inform about the technology and history of photography.
To gain mastery of digital photography production.
To gain the ability to work in computer environment using digital production methods and the ability to use professional software and self-learning.
Course Content: To introduce digital photography methods.
To have knowledge about the history of photography.
Active production of photography through field trips
To gain photo processing skills with the support of software (Photoshop) in computational environment.
To understand the methods of creating visual narratives through photography.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Ability to use architectural photography methods and techniques.
2) Ability to see the space in relation to its surroundings and to convey it through photography.
3) Ability to document space at different scales
4) Ability to use and design visual expression techniques.

10) Field trip: Architecture photography
11) Presentation and evaluation of photographs taken during the trip.
12) Exhibition visit
13) Discussion about writings
14) Preparation for the final: Studying the exhibition methods of the 2 series produced.
15) Final: Presentation and exhibition of the produced photographs.
