Course Objectives: |
Understanding the organization of human brain; understanding physiological, chemical and biological bases of human behavior and individuality; understanding brain processes and functions in perception and awareness, attention, emotion, psychopathology and neuropsychiatric disorders. Comprehending interaction of biology-environment-behavior. |
Course Content: |
To understand the physiological, chemical and biological bases of human behavior. In this context, the course includes Structure and Functions of Neurons, The Communication Between Neurons, The Basics of Brain Development, Neuroplasticity, Anatomical and Functional Organization of the Human Brain, Lobes of the Brain and Their Functions, Split-Brain, Brain, Human Consciousness and Behavior, Neuropsychiatric Diseases (Agnosia, neglect or multimodal disorders like as Schizophrenia and Dementia). |
