Course Objectives: | To evaluate the analysis of the foreign policy making processes of the states and how the decision-making mechanisms work; to gain the ability to analyze, discuss and evaluate the behavior of states and non-state actors in the field of foreign policy in theoretical and practical terms. |
Course Content: | Foreign policy analysis levels, comparative methods and databases, cultural factors in foreign policy, roles and identities, decision-making approaches, decision-making mechanisms, decision-making types, role of consultants in decision-making, expectation theory, cognitive approaches |
