Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To teach the techniques of child yoga
Course Content: What is yoga, What is children's yoga, Benefits of children's yoga Warm-up exercises, Classroom management, Rules to be considered by the instructor, Basic children's yoga movements and benefits, Basic children's yoga movements and benefits, Meditation methods, Breathing techniques, Story options, Games, Relaxation and visualisation techniques, Examples of yoga with stories.

1) To be able to learn yoga philosophy
2) Discuss the philosophy of child yoga
3) To be able to discuss the use of Child Yoga in today's field
4) Define the types of Yoga used in children
5) To be able to exemplify Yoga practices in healthy children

1) Has the ability to use information technologies and devices that require special expertise effectively.
2) Combining the basic principles of science with technology, he/she has the ability to apply effectively in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation.
3) Has knowledge about treatment methods for muscle and skeletal systems.
4) Has the ability to use information technologies and devices that require special expertise effectively.
5) Be able to follow the innovations, changes and developments in science and technology and analyze them with an integrated approach.
6) He/she has the knowledge of the techniques and methods necessary to apply physical therapy, and the knowledge of ethical principles and rules.
7) Follows the knowledge in the field by using a foreign language at least at the A2 General Level of the European Language Portfolio.
8) He/she uses information and communication technologies together with computer software at the minimum level of European Computer Use License required by his/her field.
