Course Objectives: | The goal of the course is to enable the students to understand the main tenets of the international relations, the concepts and the elements that constitute these tenets. |
Course Content: | Core actors, problematique and theories of international relations will be analyzed. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) 1- Percieve the foundations of theories of international politics 2) 2- Understand the factors that affect and shape international politics. 3) 3- Learn the domestic and external factors that affect the decision-making process of states and non-state actors. 4) 4- Gain the ability to analyze and evaluate the significant events in globalizing world. 5) 5- Learn and analyze the concepts of power and balance of power in a multidimensional framework. 6) 6- Recognize actual incidents and problems that occured on global scale. |
