Course Objectives: | Giving the theoretical information to the student within the scope of the lighting subject, including the lighting systems in the project work during the term and gaining the ability to process the project |
Course Content: | Definition of Light, General Illumination, Definition of Lighting Elements. Visual comfort, Design of natural and artificial lighting systems in indoor and outdoor spaces, determination of the effect of lighting quality on product development and design |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Acquiring information about lighting design and general lighting 2) To be able to comprehend the basic principles of visual perception and lighting behavior. 3) To be able to describe the basic effects and principles of lighting sources 4) To be able to compare the basic principles of building standards, prerequisites and ecological effects for residential, commercial and institutional buildings during the lighting design process. 5) To be able to interpret the physiological and psychological effects of indoor and outdoor light on people, in addition to solving the problems of those with special needs in lighting design and implementation. |
