Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It aims to inform the enrolled students about the molecules that cause toxicity, their biotransformation, and the methods used to determine the toxicity of a molecule.
Course Content: Cellular mechanisms of toxicology and toxicity determination methods

1) Define toxicity
2) Identify the methods that can detect cytotoxicity
3) Explain genotoxicity and genotoxicity determination methods
4) Explain biotransformation reactions
5) Recognize the mechanisms of membrane drug transport
6) Present an in vitro toxicity determination method
