Course Objectives: | The aim of the course for each student; Rehabilitation approaches in children with acute and chronic respiratory problems will be comprehensively reviewed. |
Course Content: | Service and intensive care environment, life support equipment used in neonatal and pediatric patients, monitoring, clinical problems, evaluation of neonatal and pediatric patients, physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches, clinical decision making in different clinical problems. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) 1.Applies appropriate evaluation for childs developmental level and clinical problem in children with acute and chronic respiratory problems. 2) 2.Applies treatment approaches in children with acute and chronic respiratory problems. 3) Comprehends organization of pediatric pulmonary rehabilitation and intensive care, quality of life, patient and family education, ethics, and psychosocial issues. |
