Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To determine the effects of globalization and new political and economic developments that have emerged with it, on cyber security.
Course Content: Globalization and global policies will be analyzed. In addition to these problems, basic concepts related to cyberspace and cybersecurity, cybercrime, information law, computer law and cyber-law, forensic investigations and information technology, security and control of information, Computer and network security, cyber war, politics and energy security will be examined in this course.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) They will gain the ability to detect the waves of globalization and its effects on today's politics.
2) They will learn the basic concepts of cyber security, what it covers and its resources.
3) They will be able to evaluate how different countries' approaches to cyber energy security have changed in the global world.
4) They will be able to understand Turkey's cyber security policies with its past and present and will be able to determine its place in global politics.
