Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills related to the usage, maintenance and cleaning of laboratory devices and to have theoretically the techniques used in the laboratory. |
Course Content: | Recognition and use of materials used in laboratory, principles of preparation of materials for preparation of solution, types and use of microscopes, theoretical knowledge and terms related to different laboratory methods and principles. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explains the rules and safety measures to be followed in the laboratory. 2) Have knowledge about chemical calculations and pretreatments which are the prerequisite of the laboratory and prepare solutions with these calculations. 3) Explains the consumables used in the laboratory and their intended use. 4) Explains and applies the theoretical logic in techniques and analyzes. 5) Applies the knowledge and skills related to the use, maintenance and cleaning of laboratory devices. |
