Course Objectives: | The aim of the course is to enable the students to gain knowledge and skills about the structure of the human body, the principles of operation of systems, scintigraphy methods and usage. |
Course Content: | Giving information about Nuclear Medicine imaging techniques for Medical Imaging technicians |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Knows the general physics rules for nuclear medicine. 2) Have knowledge about nuclear energy. 3) Knows nuclear imaging methods. 4) Knows scintigraphy types. 5) Have knowledge about the limitations of nuclear imaging methods. 6) Have knowledge about the therapeutic use of nuclear medicine. 7) Learns the treatments with nuclear medicine. 8) Learn to protect from radiation. |
