Course Objectives: | The aim of the course is to provide the students with the necessary theoretical knowledge about the infrastructure of the device hardware together with the physics principles of radiological imaging methods. |
Course Content: | With this course, students will learn the basic principles of radiological imaging. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Remember the information about the definition and content of radiology. 2) Lists the radiography room and the equipment in the room. 3) Recognize and explain parts of X-ray devices. 4) Applies X-Ray according to the characteristics of the anatomical structure to be displayed. 5) It gives examples of how physical events occur after the X-ray is sent to the visualized tissue, how these physical events are obtained with the parameters and how they are used in the imaging process. 6) Explains the damages of radiation and the ways of protection. |
