Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Political Institutions course aims to introduce the basic functioning, institutions and organizations of state administration. It aims to introduce and distinguish the major political structures and orders around the world. Students who successfully complete this course are expected to grasp the basic principles and concerns underlying the political governments and processes in the world.
Course Content: Within the scope of Political Institutions course; the historical development of political institutions such as parliament, political parties, army and electoral systems will be comprehended and the effects of political institutions on the structuring of politics will be discussed in this process.
