Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to discuss the changing management approach depending on the change and transformation of the social structure in Turkey. In this way, the participants understand the demands of the society for change and enable them to discuss the changing management organization structures. |
Course Content: | Public administration reforms, non-governmental organizations and public administration, the place of civil society in the understanding of new public administration and governance. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learn the conceptual and philosophical foundations of civil society. 2) Can analyze the relationship between civil society and governance. 3) Learns the interests, activities and impacts of civil society organizations that emerged in different periods 4) Acquires the ability to establish the relationship between the increase in the number of civil society organizations and globalization. 5) To have knowledge about the status, working areas and effects of civil society organizations in Turkey. 6) To be able to design and prepare scientific studies such as theoretical or experimental projects, reports, articles, theses, etc. on their own or with others, and to be able to use qualitative and quantitative research techniques related to their field. 7) Develops behavior in accordance with ethical and social values and evaluates what he/she has learned and decides what he/she needs and questions the knowledge he/she has acquired with critical approaches 8) To be able to transfer his/her opinions, thoughts and suggestions for solutions to the relevant persons and institutions in written and verbally. 9) To be able to use information and communication technologies together with computer software at least at the advanced level of European Computer Driving License required by the field. |
