Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To enable students to acquire core knowledge of health systems, policies and planning.
Course Content: This course is about main concepts and topics related to health systems, policies and planning.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explains the health system, the borders of the health system and sub-systems.
2) Defines the concepts of health policy and health planning.
3) Classifies health policy theories.
4) Analyzes Turkey's health policies and compares them with other countries' health policies.
5) Explain the basic concepts of health planning and the difference between need and demand.
6) Summarizes health planning methods.
7) Recognizes global health problems and policies.
