Course Objectives: | To explain the purpose, scope and importance of health management, to examine the systems and institutions producing health services in detail. |
Course Content: | Management, Manager, Organization concepts, Managerial Roles and Skills. Management Functions, Organization Principles Classical Management and Organization Theory. Neo-classical Management and Organization Theory, Modern Organization Theory, Modern and Modern Concepts and Approaches, Differentiating Health Institutions from Other Organizations features; structure, process and result related properties. Hospital concept, functions of hospitals, classification of hospitals, historical development of hospitals. Turkey and several countries in the organizational structure of the hospital. Hospital board and hospital management. History of hospital management and management. Responsibilities of hospital management. Medical services, other health services, support services |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To understand and apply effective health management 2) Defines hospitals, recognizes building management, functions of hospitals and makes classification. 3) Understand the importance of production management and stock control management in health institutions 4) Know the importance of emergency and disaster situation in health institutions and take necessary measures. |
