Course Objectives: | The aim of lesson; To teach health management students general rules regarding ethically discussed issues in health. In addition, another aim of the course is to create behavioral changes for students to demonstrate an ethically sustainable approach. |
Course Content: | It includes ethics and concepts related to morality, moral development processes and their relationship with ethics, ethical systems and types, examining the relationship between patient and doctor within an ethical framework, the concept of sustainability and the ethical approach in terms of sustainability. The course content will also cover ethically controversial cases in healthcare and students will be asked to discuss these ethical issues. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Gain knowledge about basic concepts related to ethics. 2) Knows the concept of morality. 3) Learns and practices the moral principles in health profession 4) Becomes able to produce solutions to ethical problems. 5) Have knowledge about patient rights. 6) Manages communication with patients. 7) Gains knowledge of the issues discussed regarding ethics in health. |
