Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to inform the students about the anatomy, physiology and pathologies of the body systems, diagnosis and treatment methods that may be encountered during the health service delivery process, to inform the students about general health knowledge and to ensure that the students have a good command of medical terminology.
Course Content: Structural units of the body, body cavities, movement system, nervous system, respiratory system, circulatory system, digestive system, excretory system and reproductive system.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Gains knowledge about the spelling and reading rules of medical terms.
2) Can explain the systemic terms that make up the human body
3) Will be able to explain the prefixes that make up the medical terms.
4) Can explain the roots and suffixes that make up medical terms
5) Have a grasp of the terminology at a level to understand a medical report.
6) Have knowledge about system anatomy.
