Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives:	The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the basic functions and related concepts of statististics with proving various examples. It provides the basics relating the selection of appropriate statistical tecniques for different research methods. Also, the course aims to provide the executing the statistical tests on SPSS.
Course Content:	Basic concepts about statistics, types of variables, preparing data set, frequency tables, central tendency and distribution measures, normal distribution, transformations of scores.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Understands the basic principles of scientific research and experimental design
2) Knows the basic concepts of statistics and statistical test analyses.
3) Prepares and entry data encoding template on SPSS.
4) Executes the statistical analyses of descriptive, correlational, and, statistical comparisons of within-subject and between-subject on the SPSS
5) Explains the findings of statistical analyses on SPSS.
