Course Objectives: | The main objective of this course is to teach the nature of learning, neurobiological principles of learning and memory, factors affecting learning, learning theories, psychology of learning, and to explain its contribution to other psychology subfields. |
Course Content: | Theories and research based on behavioral and cognitive perspectives, theories and concepts about learning, classical conditioning, operant conditioning, the neurobiological basis of learning and memory. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explains the theories and concepts with theoretical approaches related learning. 2) Understands the neurobiological principles of learning and memory. 3) Explains the behavioural and cognitive processes under of learning mechanism. 4) Establishes the link of “Learning Psychology” with other psychology subfields. 5) Acquits the practical skills about fundamental principles of learning in daily life and/or in the laboratory. |
