Course Objectives: | The course examines the therapy approaches that have been developed in recent years and differed from the mainstream methods. It also aims to introduce therapeutic skills with the practical examples of these trends |
Course Content: | Detailed examination and discussion of a range of topics related to clinical psychology (personality disorders and cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodrama, etc.). |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Understand some postmodern therapy approaches and recognize third wave cognitive methods 2) Analyze the methods, tools and protocols of recent psychotherapy approaches. 3) Compare different recent psychotherapy approaches 4) Knows and applies professional ethical requirements in psychotherapy practices. |
