Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course for each student;
The aim of this course is to provide information about management and organization structures in health sector, hospitals and rehabilitation centers, and different models in physiotherapy and rehabilitation services and to gain the ability to analyze various structures, to develop analysis and synthesis skills by enabling different organizations to discuss in the classroom.
Course Content: Information about management and organization in FTR, management and planning, execution, decision making, supervision, coordination and organization functions to teach, rehabilitation centers, non-governmental organizations, rehabilitation centers for children with orthopedic disabilities, nursing homes, special education centers and hospitals to discuss management and organization.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Gains information about planning, decision-making, coordination, organization, execution, supervision activities of management activities
2) Defines different management styles by associating them with physiotherapy and rehabilitation services and participates in case studies in the group.
3) Gains information about organizations in management activities.
4) To gain knowledge about total quality management and performance measurements.

1) Physiotherapy defines the basic medical sciences concepts and principles related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation evaluation processes, basic elements and methodological application principles. 2 2 2 1
2) He/She lists clinical evaluation tools and methods by analyzing the collected information about evaluation in physiotherapy according to reasoning and problem solving processes. 3 1 1 2
3) Explain the indications, contraindications, side effects and intervention strategies of the physiotherapy approaches and the mechanisms used to cope with functional disability and possible intervention methods. Sorts the near and far term targets according to functional levels. 2 2 1 2
