Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course for each student;
The aim of this course is to enable students to identify the problems of disorder, activity and participation level in the cases they frequently encounter during their clinical studies and to determine appropriate physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches in the light of evidence-based scientific data, aims to improve patient-centered clinical problem-solving skills by providing discussion in the environment.
Course Content: Preparation of students and counselors related to the case, evaluation of the case with the group work in the clinic, creation of a list of problems based on biopsychosocial model, and discussion of the treatment approaches formed with evidence-based data in the classroom.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students will be able to research library and web-based resources and gain the ability to use the information associated with the case.
2) Identify the personal and environmental factors that affect activity and participation limitations.
3) Applies the biopsychosocial model in the clinical decision making process.
4) Participates in the studies related to the case within the group, makes definitions about the case after the physiotherapy evaluation, determines the problems at the level of disorder, activity and participation.

1) Physiotherapy defines the basic medical sciences concepts and principles related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation evaluation processes, basic elements and methodological application principles. 2 1 2 3
