Course Objectives: The aim of this course for each student; To provide students with the skills to conduct evidence-based research, identify problems/deficiency and seek solutions, conduct theoretical/computational/wet experiments in laboratories, evaluate and discuss data correctly, reach solutions and results, and present results during their pharmacy education.
Course Content: Graduation Project courses are the series of compulsory courses that start in the 7th semester and are completed in the 10th semester, conducted by the faculty members of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Istinye University, and required by the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Istinye University. Within the scope of graduation project courses, students will have experimental/theoretical knowledge and experience about their project in the field of pharmacy. During the graduation project, students will gain the skills of literature review, problem solving skills, method learning and/or development, data acquisition, interpretation and sharing the results with their stakeholders as written and oral presentations. In this context, this course aims to identify the relevant problem or gap in the field of pharmacy in the literature, to seek a solution to the identified problem or gap, to determine the method / ways to reach a solution, to obtain experimental and / or theoretical data, to analyze data and to interpret these data by comparing them with the literature. and presenting the results in national and/or international project format by discussing them. In order to realize these steps, it is aimed that the students are involved in a BAP/TUBITAK/etc project in the relevant field. In the semester before graduation, all studies and the result must be written in the graduation thesis format, and the results of the graduation project must be presented to the members of the jury and other participants to be determined by the faculty board, both as posters, written and oral presentations, in an open hall.
