Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course for each student;
Students follow the historical development of school health nursing in the world and Turkey is aimed to understand the role of the nurse in the school health services and functions of the legal and ethical aspects.
Course Content: Definition and history of school health nursing, use of theory and models in school health nursing practice, application standards, roles and functions of school nurse (caregiver, counselor, advocate, health educator, researcher, manager), legal and ethical issues
