Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to gain up-to-date and evidence-based information on operating room nursing standards, operating room patient and employee safety, and intraoperative patient care.
Course Content: This course; It includes the standards that should be present in the operating room, the structure and management of the operating room, the patient positions in the operating room, the operating room team and the duties and powers of the scrub and circular nurse, and the patient and employee safety in the operating room.

1) I. Describe the organization and management of the operating room.
2) II. Define the duties, powers and responsibilities of the operating room nurse
3) III. Explain patient and employee safety in the operating room.
4) IV. Explain anesthesia types and complications.
