Course Objectives: |
The aim of the course is to provide an understanding of how human resource management (HRM) takes place in an organization. Course aims to teach fundamental concepts related to HR and basic functions of HRM such as, HR planning, job analysis, recruitment and selection, performance management, pay and benefits, career management, employee relations and ınternational HRM. Also, current topics in HRM are being discussed. For this purpose, the goal is for the course participant to acquire management skills and awareness of human resource management as a result of this scholarly pursuit, and to be able to relate this to real life business situations and interactions. Of parallel importance is for participants to become more proficient communicators, both in verbal and written communicative skills. |

Definition and scope of human resource management, human resource planning including job design and analysis, recruitment and selection, compensation, employee development, workplace health and safety, employee relations. |
