Course Objectives: | This course is designed to enable the students to have a good understanding of main concepts in international marketing, selection of target market, export entry mode strategies and export and import transactions. Not only the above mentioned knowledge, but also related regulation will be outlined. A project, which covers the stages of export procedure, is also prepared. |
Course Content: | Dış ticarete giriş, dış ticaret mevzuatı ve kullanılan belgeler, uluslararası ticarette teslim şekilleri, ihracatta ödeme şekilleri, (peşin ödeme, mal mukabili ödeme, vesail mukabili ödeme), akreditif ile ödeme, özel işlemler, ihracat ve çeşitleri, ihracat işleminin aşamaları, ihracata hazırlık, pazar bulma ve pazar seçimi, fiyatlama, ihracatta yapılan işlemler, ihracatta teşvikler, ihracatın finansmanı, ihracatta riskler ve korunma yöntemleri. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students who take this course should have appreciation of the role of export/import process in the globalised world market 2) The student shall also develop network thinking in regards to export. This includes the role of import in relation to export, including the role of business relationships with customers, suppliers, supporting actors such as consultants, financial institutions, logistics service providers. 3) Students should have a broad overview of the export-import process and its related literature and research streams. 4) The student should be able to create export and import plans 5) Students should be able to conduct research for export import products by uslng country databases 6) Students should be able to conduct country analysis for finding export and import products by using databases. 7) The student shall devleop understanding of customer value through export and import from a network perspective. 8) The student shall understand the role of export and import at a societal level 9) The student shall develope knowledge about export import documentation. 10) The student shall learn Turkish Custom Clearance Procedures. 11) The student should have an idea about Export Import services as a career opportunity. |
