Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: 1. To give a detailed introduction to the basic concepts of international trade, logistics, foreign exchange, customs clearance, surveillance, banking, insurance and import and export operations. To give theoretical and practical information to those who want to work on these subjects.
2. To create current awareness about these issues, to explain applications, to give examples.
3. To understand international terms and concepts.
4. To introduce sector organizations.
Course Content: As an introductory course it has been designed to address key concepts, approaches, and transactions in the field of international trade. At the same time, the subjects about the export incentives given by the banks and other institutions in our country and other countries, and the works of the public and private sector institutions related to the subject are examined. Logistics, foreign exchange transactions, insurance issues will be introduced. In addition to the theoretical information, information on practical applications and current developments in import and export sectors will be given.
