Course Objectives: | In the historical process, to learn the change of the balances in the international system and to understand the current political structure. |
Course Content: | Developments from the end of the WWI to the contemporary era, the interwar period, WWII, bipolar world of the Cold War era, post-Cold War world and international relations after 9/11. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To examine the causal relationship between power dynamics and periodic dynamics in different. 2) To analyze what kinds of historical, political and economic processes influence large-scale changes in international politics. 3) Investigate socio-political order and change after the Industrial Revolution. 4) Analyze European Imperialism in a cause-effect relationship. 5) Know the World War I and its dynamics and learn the factors that lead to World War II. 6) Dominate the reasons and consequences of the Second World War and the developments in this period. 7) Know the cases affecting the international system during and after the Cold War. |
