Course Objectives: | With this course, it is aimed to provide the student with interior design and arrangement skills. In addition, within the scope of the interior design process of the student, it is aimed to define buildings with complex functions in structural environments, to identify the problems of the space, to collect information, to evaluate them, to develop original solutions and to synthesize solutions that can reach the result. |
Course Content: | It is based on determining the functions, defining the concept and realizing an interior design complete with technical details for the project to be given. Office buildings typology will be studied within the scope of the course. Aesthetic and physical performance conditions, requirements for the disabled, courtyard and garden solutions are researched in buildings that can offer different solutions in the environmental and cultural context. Subjects that prioritize the work program with interior and exterior detail solutions, focus on furniture and landscape design, structural problems, electrical, sanitary, acoustic and air conditioning problems are investigated. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Design, Application and Technically Completed İnterior Design 2) Analysis of space-function relations as well as the interaction between physical environment and human in interior design |
