Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to introduce the students the basic subjects of interior design and to develop their conceptual and critical thinking skills through design and production. In this course, it is aimed to produce on the concepts of body, space, time and connectedness while working and shifting between design environments. |
Course Content: | Design Studio is structured for producing in multi-dimensional design environments while working on the layers of materiality, ecological connectivity, bodily experience and environmental perception. Dependingly, the content of the course consists of articulating works in differentiating scopes. Spatialities and spatial possibilities are deeply examined in each work through the changing concept sets, construction and representation methods. Students taking the course are required to attend at least 70%. |
