Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: 1. Çocuğun sağlığını koruma, geliştirme ve bakımını sürdürmede aile merkezli bakım yaklaşımını benimser.
2. Sağlık ekibi üyeleri, çocuk ve aile ile etkili iletişim kurar.
3. Kritik düşünme ve karar verme becerilerini kullanarak çocukluk döneminde görülen hastalıkların belirti ve bulguları ile uygulanan bakım ve tedavi girişimlerini karşılaştırır.
4. Fizik muayene ve değerlendirme yöntemlerini kullanarak çocukların sağlığını değerlendirir.
5. Sağlıklı ve hasta çocuğun bakımını kanıt temelli bilgiler, mesleki ilke ve etik standartlar doğrultusunda uygular.
Course Content: This course; Basic concepts and indicators related to child health, physical, psychosocial and cognitive development in children, evidence-based and family-centered nursing care approach, protection and improvement of child and family health, effects of diseases on children and families, health problems common in childhood, quality and safe includes maintenance practices.

Learning Outcomes

3) Using critical thinking and decision making skills, compares the signs and symptoms of childhood diseases with care and treatment interventions.
