Course Objectives: | The aim of the course for each student; It is aimed that the patient and his / her family will be treated with a holistic approach and the surgery will be treated surgically. |
Course Content: | Historical development of surgery, definition of surgical nursing, concepts that affect surgical nursing, surgery in the operating room, operating conditions and operating conditions, end of surgery and prevention of complications, surgical field infections, surgical symptoms, cancer surgery, some special branch surgery applications. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Knowing the definition of surgery, its types, and situations that require surgical intervention *Knowing the definition and types of anesthesia *Comprehension of the physiological, psychological and social effects of surgery and anesthesia on the body. * Being able to give care with a systematic approach before, during and after surgery in surgeries involving different systems and organs, by understanding the effects of surgery on the individual and his family and their reactions. 1) I.
