Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course for each student;
To provide holistic care to the patient and his / her family in need of home care, to diagnose the health status of the patient in the home care process, to plan the nursing interventions, to evaluate the results of the treatment and care, to do researches to improve the home care services, to provide coordination with the environment in which the patient lives, to provide home care to be able to communicate with the other members of the health team.
Course Content: Definition of home care, benefits, home care services in the world and in our country, chronic diseases and home care, home care practices and the role of nurse.

1) Based on the qualifications gained in secondary education; Understand the concepts and concepts related to the field of health at the undergraduate level, and have advanced theoretical and practical knowledge supported by textbooks, application tools and other sources of current information in the field of health. 2 2 2
