Course Objectives: | The aim of the course for each student; The students are expected to learn the pathophysiology of lung diseases, to choose appropriate evaluation methods and to apply rehabilitation methods. |
Course Content: | Definition of pulmonary rehabilitation, evaluation of obstructive and restrictive pulmonary diseases, pulmonary rehabilitation and treatment methods, physiotherapy and rehabilitation in pulmonary surgery, respiratory assistive devices in intensive care unit, oxygen therapy, aspiration, physiotherapy and rehabilitation in intensive care, chest physiotherapy and rehabilitation in neonatals and pediatric patients |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Know the basic concepts of pulmonary rehabilitation. 2) Evaluates the patients with respiratory problems in terms of physical, physiological and functional aspects. 3) Makes the planning and implementation of physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches in patients with respiratory problems 4) Learns the use of assistive devices in physiotherapy and rehabilitation applications in patients with respiratory problems. 5) Learns the clinical features of respiratory diseases. |
