Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course for each student;
It is aimed to determine the symptoms and problems by using neurophysiological evaluation methods in various diseases due to the damage of the nervous system and to gain the knowledge and skills to create and implement the necessary physiotherapy and rehabilitation program.
Course Content: Degenerative, idiopathic, traumatic and infectious diseases of the nervous system and the theoretical and practical applications of special physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches for these diseases.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learn the clinical features of neurological diseases.
2) It classifies the diseases according to the characteristics of the central and peripheral nervous system and teaches the clinical characteristics of upper and lower motor neuron influences.
3) Defines the effects of neurological disease on body functions, activity and participation and plans treatment program in clinical decision making process.
