Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course for each student;
Students are expected to gain the ability to plan and implement diseases of the student, cardiovascular system, evaluation and early and late rehabilitation programs.
Course Content: Diseases and pathophysiology of the major cardiovascular system, cardiovascular evaluation, early rehabilitation program, effects on immobilization and body systems, external patient and secondary prevention program, exercise training, treatment and training of replaceable risk factors, protection and long-term follow-up, revascularization and valve surgery, physiotherapy and rehabilitation in peripheral vascular diseases.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learns basic concepts and clinical features of cardiac rehabilitation.
2) Evaluate patients with cardiovascular problems from physical, physiological and functional aspects.
3) Plans and applies physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches in patients with cardiovascular problems.
4) Learns patient education in people with cardiovascular risk

3) Myocardial infarction, peripheral vascular diseases
4) Valvular diseases, heart failure, arrhythmias, revascularization and valve surgery
5) Cardiovascular evaluation

7) Drugs used in cardiac diseases and rehabilitation applications
8) Midterm exam
9) Cardiac rehabilitation early period rehabilitation program, external patient and secondary prevention program
10) Cardiac rehabilitation early period rehabilitation program, external patient and secondary prevention program
11) Exercise tests and training
12) Exercise tests and training after myacardial infarction, thoracic surgery, PTCA
13) Resistant exercise training in cardiac rehabilitation
14) Treatment and training of interchangeable risk factors, protection and long-term follow-up
