Course Objectives: | The aim of the course for each student; The aim of this course is to teach the basic information about the internal diagnosis, rheumatologic, neurological and pediatric neurological diseases that are frequently encountered by physiotherapists. |
Course Content: | Clinical evaluation of internal diseases and approach to geriatric patient (history, physical examination), Evaluation of internal diseases (Laboratory and imaging methods) Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia. Systemic lupus erythamotosus, Scleroderma, Osteoporosis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Seronegative spondyloarthopathies, Sjogren's syndrome, Gout, Infectious arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, Juvenile idiopathic arthritis, Reactive arthritis, Renal diseases and chronic renal failure, Physiotherapy endocrinological diseases 1, (Osteoporosis, osteomalacia, thyroid diseases), Endocrinological diseases in terms of physiotherapy 2 (Diabetes mellitus, obesity, metabolic syndrome), Intensive care monitoring methods |

1) Defines diseases of internal sciences and learns their properties. 2) Have knowledge about diagnostic evaluation and treatment options of the diseases. 3) . Have knowledge about diagnostic evaluation and treatment options of rheumatic, neurological, pediatric, pediatric-neurological diseases. |
