Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course for each student;
Students will be able to understand the basic theoretical and practical knowledge about massage techniques, to learn basic concepts of evaluation and application in different situations where massage is used, to develop application ability and to develop problem solving skills related to these subjects in physiotherapy and rehabilitation field.
Course Content: Manual treatment methods, soft tissue mobilization, myofascial relaxation techniques, neuromobilization, massage techniques, joint mobilization and cyriax techniques.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learns the reflex, mechanical, physiological and clinical effects of techniques and techniques.
2) Learns the necessary evaluations in planning the treatment.
3) Learns the pathologies that may be contraindicated.
4) Apply the methods and techniques taught.
5) Applies the decision making process for the use of the practice in the clinic.
