Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course for each student;
It is aimed that the students learn to plan the treatment program by selecting the exercise samples used in various disorders and the most suitable ones for the patient.
Course Content: Planning the exercise program, factors affecting the patient and teaching exercises, exercise types for normal joint movements, exercise positions, exercises for smoothness of the pelvic region and lumbar vertebrae, strengthening exercises for front and side abdominals, William's flexion exercises, stretching exercises for pectoral muscles, thoracic and exercises for the smoothness of the shoulder girdle with cervical vertebrae, Codman exercises, stretching and strengthening exercises to the muscles disrupting the smoothness of the lower extremities, Burger-Allen exercises, progressive resistance exercises, isometric exercises, relaxation exercises, scoliosis, principles of three-dimensional treatment method in scoliosis, traction issues

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Plans the specific therapeutic exercise programs for the musculoskeletal system
2) Evaluates the patient before exercise.
3) All therapeutic exercises show practiced according to diseases.
4) Describe hardware treatment approaches.
5) Analyzes the effectiveness of therapeutic exercises and revises them when necessary.
