Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course for each student;
The aim of the course is to provide the students with the ability to acquire theoretic history, general physiotherapy assessments, basic principles of movement, posture analysis (lateral, anterior, posterior), shortness tests, elasticity tests, anthropometric measurements, normal joint movement and muscle strength assessments, and practical-theoretical knowledge and skills.
Course Content: Patient history and general physiotherapy assessments, basic principles of motion, posture analysis (anterior, lateral, posterior), shortness and elasticity tests, anthropometric measurements (environment, length, diameter and fat measurements), normal joint motion and muscle strength evaluations

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Identifies the general problems about the patient and his / her disease in order to get the stories of the patients with different diagnoses.
2) Knows the basic principles of movement, understand the importance of these principles in physiotherapy programs.
3) Lateral, anterior and posterior posture analysis learns the postural disorders seen in patients or healthy individuals.
4) Highness and flexibility tests learn to practice.
5) Learn the application of measurements (environment, length, diameter and fat tissue measurements).
6) The ability to evaluate normal joint movements.
