Course Objectives: | The aim of the course for each student; The aim of the course is to make the students understand the general characteristics of the microorganisms that cause infection, the ways of transport of these microorganisms and the general characteristics of the infection methods. |
Course Content: | Introduction to microbiology, structure, physiology and genetics of bacteria, antibiotics and resistance mechanisms, introduction to immunology, basic immunological response mechanisms, serological tests, methods of analysis of fungi, protozoa, helminths and viruses. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Knows the classification of micoorgaznimalar. 2) Describe the differences between eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells. 3) Identify primary pathogens that cause disease in humans. 4) Explains the basic concepts in bacterial genetics. |
