Course Objectives: | The aim of the course for each student; The aim of this course is to evaluate the definition of clinical pilates techniques, pilates philosophy, basic principles and applications. |
Course Content: | Definition of pilates, its philosophy, place and importance in health, pilates sessions, physiological responses of pilates practices, application of breathing and relaxation techniques, importance and application of concentration and meditation, importance and application of pilates therapy in different clinical situations |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Will be able to define and use clinical Pilates techniques. 2) Explain the effects of clinical Pilates techniques on muscle strength and posture. 3) Discusses the use of clinical pilates in the treatment of scoliosis, postural disorders, musculoskeletal disorders and pregnancy. 4) Understands the importance and the importance of researches in clinical physiotherapy clinics. 5) Will be able to discuss the philosophy of Yoga. |
